Scope of this statement
This statement describes information handled through the Mitchell Criminal Law website. It does not replace the terms of an attorney-client engagement or the privacy practices of external websites.
Information the website receives
The consultation form asks for your name, phone number, email address, practice area, and an optional message. The information you choose to submit is included in an email notification to the designated recipient. A separate automated acknowledgement is sent to the email address you provide.
The hosting server may also record technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser details, request times, and errors. The form uses an IP-derived identifier and request timestamps to limit repeated submissions.
How information is used
Contact information and messages are used to handle the request, reply to you, and troubleshoot delivery. Technical information supports website operation, security, and abuse prevention. The current website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or a feature that sells form submissions.
Submitting a form does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Do not include confidential evidence, identification numbers, financial account details, or other sensitive case information in an initial website inquiry.
Email, service providers, and storage
Website hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the site and deliver messages. Consultation requests are delivered to the firm’s designated intake email address. Messages may remain in mailboxes, mail queues, or provider backups. Although the form handler does not create a separate database of inquiries, that does not mean submitted information is immediately deleted.
Retention depends on the relevant mailbox, hosting, and backup settings. This website does not promise an automatic deletion period. Information may also need to be retained or disclosed when required by law.
Questions and requests
You can choose to call the office instead of using the form. To ask about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, call 813.229.5343 or write to Mitchell Criminal Law, 1115 E Cass St, Tampa, FL 33602. Please identify the relevant request without sending additional sensitive details. The firm may need to verify your identity and consider applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Updates to this statement
This statement may be updated when the website or its information-handling practices change. The date below identifies the latest revision.
